I forgot to mention that I have a 9" rear axle from a Lincoln Versallies with disc brakes on this car. The axle is an inch wider overall than the stock Maverick 8".
Stefan's comment about spacers jogged my memory. Sorry for the misinformation.

: I have the same rear wheels as Sam, but had to put a spacer between the mag and the drum because the tire would touch the leaf spring. Up front I have 215/60/14.
