On metric tires, the sizes are in 10mm increments. I believe that an L60-15 would translate to a P265/60R-15. The "P" stands for Passenger vehicle. The "265" is the tire width in millimeters. The "60" means that the sidewall height is 60% of the tire width. Hence the smaller the number, the shorter the sidewall or "profile". The "R" stands for Radial and the 15 obviously means it's for a 15-inch wheel. Hope this helps...
: How do you convert those numbers? How about a L60X15, what does that equal?
: : Yes. An F60-15 would translate to a P205/60R-15 and an E78-14 would be a P195/75R-14.

: : : Does anyone have an easy way of converting the old style of tire size (eg. F60X15 or E78X14) to today's standard metric sizing?
: : : Thanks for your help.
