: Please, no nasty letters about being a Chrysler guy. In the last few months I became the owner of a 4 dr, Mercury Comet, 250 cid, A/T Green with a white roof. The back seat is missing, the thing leaks when it rains and the guy who owned it before me did great things to it.
: I think he was trying to make a race car out of it cause it turned left really great! Anyway, we've een working on that and now I can at least drive it straight without straining myself but I need lots of info on this thing in order to make something of it. I have a little less thatn two years before my daughter gets her license and I'd like this to be what she drives.
: Oh yeah, most of the dash panels are missing, the front seats need reupholtered and the carpet was rotted so bad i tore it all out! I'm thinking new carpet, four bucket seats, new paint and a kick-butt stereo after I get the suspension thing straight.
: The body's in good shape, only a few rusted areas, and when I first went to buy it, it had been sitting in the driveway for 3 days and it started first try. All this for only $350! What suspension/brake,interior parts from later cars will work?
: I've seen mention of Granda/Monarch suspensions being an easy swap. What about a radiator from one of these cars? Brakes? Interior? Any pitfalls I should look for there?
: And what about specifications on such things as timing, camber, caster, toe in/out?
: Sorry about the long letter. Thanks in advance for any info you folks can give me.

Granada/Mona suspensions they're talking about the disc brake change over. alignment just keep it factory specs, alignment place has them. A raditor get an alunumin one from a aftermarket source, AFCO make very good ones for under $200, at least it wasn't a riceburner that you got rid of,
