Bought a new belt, didn't fit?

I bought a new V belt for my 200, and it didn't fit. The autopart store had 2 belts, and I got the smaller one, the other is only a 1/2" bigger, and I don't think it's going to fit, The parts store was closed sunday and monday for labor day, but will be open tuesday so I can get the other belt. Anybody know if it will?
