Why not just go get your engine rebuilt, sounds like all you need is a ring job, that'd only cost a couple hundred bucks if you have somebody do it. Or just upgrade to a 302, cost a bit more obviously, but well worth it. I hope to upgrade to a 302 or bigger next summer.
