I would if I could, but I'm living in an apartment right now, and according to my lease I'm not allowed to work on my car at all. I do anyway, usually at night after the office has closed. Building up an engine would not be an easy task without a garage. I just want to get it reliable, and inspectable. It is neither at this point, because I can't drive it anywhere without breaks, I should be able to drive it to the gas station tonight and fill it up, and put some air in the tires before they go flat. Also I am going to school college right now, and am already riding the Bus to school, and want to end that as quickly as possible. The summer will give me the time to let the car sit for a while, and I hope to be renting a house with my roomate soon, and a garage is a one of the things we are looking for, so I can work on my mav as well as my poor old '77 F-250 that has been in storage for 9 years, and he can work on his Honda 600 dirt bike. He'll have a metric side, and I'll have my standard side...hehe!

: If your engine currently runs, and you state you want to put in a 302,
: why not save your cash and knuckles and procure a 302 now and rebuild it on
: the bench (space allowing), or get a remanufactured 302?

: If you have a c4 trans, it will not to be switched.
