Tightening that gearbox is simple, saying that the gears are okay. When you look down behind the front left shock tower, you will see the gearbox. On top of that gearbox is a slotted bolt with a lock nut under it. Loosen the lock nut, then loosen the bolt. The best thing that I found was to raise the front tires off the ground a bit, so that the steering will spin freely. Now, tighten that bolt down, while turning the steering wheel from one end to the other. DON'T TIGHTEN DOWN TOO MUCH. You can ruin the gears with too much pressure. Just snug it up, then hold the bolt, and tighten the lock nut. That's it.

You will probably find that the steering will get harder at the outside limits, due to the years of wear in the center. Use your best judgement.

Good Luck!!!
