...They used to sell performance parts for the 300. I have an old catalog (1976) that has a lot of drag cars (Pinto, Falcon, Opel GT, even an "Altered") using that engine. Maybe they can point you in the right direction. Also check with Clifford Performance. I recall Ak Miller did turbo/propane conversions on the small six (with the legendary crossflow Oz head), but don't remember any big six projects. Good Luck;-)


: I am currently in the process of building a drag car running a 300 i-6 like Ak Miller did in the 70's. I am wondering what is entailed in putting this rather large (dimensionally) motor into a Maverick? I am planning on running a large turbo with propane. 15-22 psi of boost will not be unheard of.

: I would also appreciate any info on Ak's car if anyone has some information on it and some technical pointers from it. Thanx for your help.
