Try the starter relay. Those damn things always go when you try to start the car off a weak battery the relay goes nuts inside(klack,klack) and the thing seems to die. The solenoid costs like 10 bucks. This is at least from my experience. What did you try to start it with anyway? Jump it? New batt.? Same one you thought was toast? If you used the the positive teriminal on the batt. to the post on the solenoid where the starter is hooked up and the thing turns then your starter is fine. If you replace the relay and the thing is still kaput try the ignition coil. I'm not sure how to test it with out using the key. You need too send voltage to the coil from the relay (possibly bad).
