Well, i got a lot of negative stuff when i wanted to do the same thing, but it is very possible and it's very powerful. You shouldn't even have to pound back the shock towers, but you will need a $300 set of swap headers. You can buy them from AutoKrafters. One guy i talked said he could change the spark plugs without re-arranging the shock towers. In all though, your best bet would be to go through the archives on the message board, and search for articles. If you have any specific questions, feel free to email me!

: I'm thinking of a new powertrain for my Maverick, more vintage styled, well sort of. I always wanted a 351C with 2bbl. heads in one (4bbl heads have way more flow then I feel is nessasary for the street). I know a 351 Windsor would be easier, but I really want a cleveland. with an AOD behind it with around a 3.25-3.50 gear. Any9ne familiar with this? Would the shock towers need cut? Also what front springs could I use? Exhaust manifords, or are their headers made for this?
