First thing I would do is make sure the motor turns over. Grab the fan & see if you can turn it over. If it does then check the starter. If your very carefull you can take a jumper cable & go from battery positive directly to the starter cable on the solenoid. If it cranks then check the solenoid next. On my car the red wire with the white tracer goes on the post closest to the battery cable. The black wire with red tracer goes on the other. If your wires are different colors than mine you can disconnect them both, have someone hold the key in the start position, & use a test light, or meter to see which one is hot. This is the one that will go to the post closest to the battery cable. If neither have 12 volts on them with the key in the start position you should look for the neutral safty switch to be bad or missaligned. After the solenoid is hooked up correctly make sure it is grounded real good. It will not work without a good ground. this should take care of your problem or at least let you know where the problem is.... Good Luck
