A 351 Cleveland does use the late (after 6 bolt) bolt pattern the same as the 289, 302, and 351 W. It also uses the same mounts. The 351-400M
(modified) uses unique mounts and a 429-460 Bellhousing bolt pattern. My problem is if I need to cut the shock towers or not. A AOD will bolt to a Clevland. What I want to do is built a modern Boss 351 Maverick that the factory should have done IMO. WIth 2bbl heads and a 4bbl. duel plane intake. Basic 70s stuff with an extra gear.
