Paulie you did not even notice that instead of fixing the overspray for you he's getting off cheap by repainting your car and overspraying everything again. Your getting jipped. Make him fix what he screwed up the first time before he even tries to repaint the new stuff. This is why these guy's have this reputation and get a way with it no one ever makes them fix or do it right the first time. Or they wiesle out of it by offering something else like a repaint which is cheap for them, Paint is only $25.00 per quart and you only need 2 for an entire car(if they use that much) and his labor is cheap $5.00-$8.00 per hour for all of his employees, and with sanding your looking at only 8hrs to paint an entire car(Their Way) Total cost to him Max. $120.00. To fix all of the over spray or mask it off correctly the first time would cost him at least 16hrs labor($128.00max) that he does not want to cut into his proffits. Sorry about the rant but it just pisses me off that these guy's get a way with swindling everybody and giving the worst product that is out there. Wait untill you get ready for the good job before you paint the new parts, save your $150.00 for the good paint job you will be much happier.

: Well, yesterday as I was buzzing around (this is BEFORE I found out that Alice's hoses were bad) I stopped up at ES just to ask about painting the hood and the deck lid as they will soon be replaced (Rear spoilers YEAY!!!!) As I was talking to the manager I took advantage of this time to point out the oversprays (on the trim and running lights) Well, he made me a great offer... he would respray the ENTIRE car for $150... and pullout that nasty little dent in the rear!
: What the hell, it'll make the car match her new acessories, fill in the chips and give me a little time before I do the "sand blast and spray" treatment...

: Two questions tho'... 1) should I replace the trim that has been painted or should I just use paint stripper (carefully)...
: 2) have you seen that "chome spray"? Is it any good for the psuesdo chrome?

: Yes I intend to prep the car myself... sand out the damn door dings mask off the smaller parts of the trim that got "zapped" and remove as much as I can....

: Whhoooo hoo!
