: If the trim is real metal take it to a chrome shop and have it rechromed, unless the trim is damaged due to dents or smashed just fix it. New trim may be very exspensive and still need to rechromed
Well, yesterday as I was buzzing around (this is BEFORE I found out that Alice's hoses were bad) I stopped up at ES just to ask about painting the hood and the deck lid as they will soon be replaced (Rear spoilers YEAY!!!!) As I was talking to the manager I took advantage of this time to point out the oversprays (on the trim and running lights) Well, he made me a great offer... he would respray the ENTIRE car for $150... and pullout that nasty little dent in the rear!
: What the hell, it'll make the car match her new acessories, fill in the chips and give me a little time before I do the "sand blast and spray" treatment...
: Two questions tho'... 1) should I replace the trim that has been painted or should I just use paint stripper (carefully)...
: 2) have you seen that "chome spray"? Is it any good for the psuesdo chrome?
: Yes I intend to prep the car myself... sand out the damn door dings mask off the smaller parts of the trim that got "zapped" and remove as much as I can....
: Whhoooo hoo!
