I've never attempted it, but I hurd somebody say that the C6 won't fit inside the hump without some big mods, why not use a C4? It's definatly alot lighter, and bolts right to a 302.
: I am puting a 302 into my 69 1/2 maverick. I have a C-6 transmition with torque converter. I was wondering if I could fit it in without too much modifications.
