Don't quote me on this, but i think that the original steel hoods are hardly any heavier than the fiberglass ones. It makes sense too...take a look under the hood!! If there's as little of a difference as i've heard, you definitely should get a steel one, it's a lot easier to take care of.
: I just bought a 74 Grabber, and am need of some resources for parts. I know the usual, JCWhitney, Eastwood Auto, etc, but want some good resources for specifically Maverick parts. This is my 2nd one, and thus will need for both my babies. Also, does anyone know where I can get a Grabber hood cheap? Any fiberglass ones out there? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. J R
