hi I had the same damn prob. I rebuilt the carburator and adjusted the ignition timing using the Ford shop manual for that year (I own'em). The car still had the same problem when I was done. So I tinkered with timing and the carb until I was throughly agitated with no increase in performance. Needless to say I 'm putting in a 351 W tomorrow. On the upside I have a 73' 250 inline with a Carter RBS and 52,000 miles on it in my garage so let me know if you need any parts.

: I gotta '73 mav with a 250 and a Carter RBS one barrel carb. I Rebuilt the carb and adjusted it like I should but the car is extremely hard to sart cold and has a serous bog when warmed up. If I quickly stab the gas the car just about stalls. I think I need to check my fuel pump but has anybody else seem this problem?
