Shocks are excatly what they say they are, They absorb road shock and keep your tire in contact with the road. If they are worn out they can scrub your tires. However I have to agree with averybody else on this, if you are alighning your car that often there maybe other problems. Suspension also affects your braking performance. Most people neglect this aspect of there car. I would stick with a monroe product. I have always had good luck out of them. I agree wit TL on the KYBs etc they are to expensive and not much better.
