There is no difference as far as the internals of the transmission... the clutch is where the difference in the setup is between the 200 and the 302. The same way with the C-4... the 302 C-4 has a heavier duty clutch pack inside.

: : TBR is correct that the trans will bolt up & work fine with different bellhousing. However, I think that the 6 cyl 3-spd is weaker than the V8 counterpart. Does anyone know more about the internals of these transmissions?
