I'm in N Austin near 183 & Anderson Mill. The car is at Doc's Motorworks now. Insurance said have it towed and checked out. I have comprehensive so if it is vandalism, and I'm allmost 100% certain it is as it died too fast, then it's covered with only a $250 deduct. Was heartbraking to watch it drive away on the wrecker. It was a NICE flatbed wrecker tho. At least it was towed in style. :-)

: I live in North Austin. Wait...is your car blue? Give me some idea of where you are, and I'll see if I can drop by and give you a hand.

: : Well I decided to clean the spark plugs to see if that would help and it won't start at all now. The way it's been acting I really think they sugared the tank. Do any of you in Austin know of a good motor shop in N austin?????

: : : The problems I've been having with rough idle have been getting ALOT worse lately. Plugs don't help and it's allmost to the point where it wont idle at all. There's some smoke on startup but not thick. Could all this be caused by the rings? Just had a deadbeat roomate move out and wondering if sugering a gas tank can do this? If so how can I find out if that's what happened? Haven't checked the compression since I did the head gasket last time. Also noticed the tranny filler tube had come unbolted from the starter, bolt was still in place, and appeared to have had some liquid poured all over it. I haven't had to do anything with the tranny since I got the car. Monday while stopped at a light I think I smelled a clutch burning. I've been using N & D as a manual since then and haven't smelled anything since. I'm planning on draining the tranny this weekend and replacing the fluid. Is there any other stuff I could/should check at the time?

: : : Thanx
