: You need 2 people to bleed brakes. Can use wife or girlfriend in a pinch but not both. Anyway fill master cyl & start at cylinder furthest away from master cyl. open bleeder valve & have someone push pedal to floor. close valve & release pedal. it may take a few times before fluid starts comming out. after you are getting fluid out of all wheels make a second round.you should have some pedal pressure by now. This time have them pump the brakes a few times then hold pressure on them. crack open the valve & immediatly close it. some people like to waite till the pedal is on the floor but its too easy to such air back into the line so by time you open & shut it its usually close to there anyway. Again do this till you see a good stream of fluid. Hit all wheels & keep checking that the master cylinder stays full. I fill between each wheel. If you let it run dry you have to start all over again. I usually make one more round. By now everything should be ok unless the brake light is on. then you just need to recenter the piston in the porportioning valve. Do this by haveing them put slight pressure on the pedal & barely cracking one of the rear valves. as soon as the light goes out close the valve & your done except for cleaning up the mess. Also do this on a level surface.
