:as far as the hood goes there is no part number on it, it a unique style hood and making one from a regular hood isn't worth the time and effort when you can buy one. On the inserts if you look real close you'll find a ford part number on them probably dD00z or something like that. But I wouldn't worry about that either. There's just not a lot of demand for Grabber hoods to find fakes floating around. Even fiberglass ones can be hard to find. Possible just hard.

I know basically what a Grabber hood looks like, but how do you know that it is 100% genuine? Are there any identifying characteristics? I have heard reference to Grabber hood inserts. Are these in the place of the two holes in the hood, and how do you know if they are genuine? Are there any FoMoCo numbers anywhere?
