So they kept everything as simple as possible, and for those of you that don't remember the late 60s early 70s, power brakes, front dics, power steering, etc, weren't common like they are now, most regular cars didn't have them. That's why these older cars with all the options are worth so much money, just didn't happen in the old days.


Thanks for the info but can you help me again?I have added front power disc brakes to my car, but I didn't do anything to the steering set-up.It is manual with 5 3/4 turns lock to lock , and I prefer this steering but will it hold up with the 302 in the car?Or do I need a different idler arm, and drag link?Thanks again
