Also make sure it isn't binding/rubbing in the fuel bowl. Even if it is set right that will cause the float to hang & cause the carb to go dry(I had this particular problem myself once - it drove me crazy because it was so hard to trace). Also make sure your fuel pump & filter are flowing properly. Hope this helps;-)
