: ...If level's too low or the drop is too high the carb will run dry at high speeds. You will be fine at low speeds, but have problems at highway speeds. Also make sure it isn't binding/rubbing in the fuel bowl. Even if it is set right that will cause the float to hang & cause the carb to go dry(I had this particular problem myself once - it drove me crazy because it was so hard to trace). Also make sure your fuel pump & filter are flowing properly. Hope this helps;-)
