Yes but do you have to clearence (hit stuff with sledge hammer) anything? Or use a power steering drop bracket, or position the motor six times before you can just about sqeeze everything in?

I made some calls on these swap headers, I had the sales rep. read me the directions and they call for "notching" of the shock towers on the driver side and the use of a drop bracket on p/s. Hedman swap headers kit price $360 give or take ten bucks, but that did include frame mounts for a Mustang that won't work on a Maverick unless you grind them. Auto Krafters sells some for Maverick's but there $270 and also require "hammer time".

Or just use manifolds and not have to worry about any of that stuff like a great guy named george told me. To me saving $170 and four hours (and that's probaly being hopeful) of work and headaches is worth 15-20hp. And you can always port them a little. 68 Mustang manifolds for a 289, 302, 351w, all have the same ford # as Maverick manifolds. I've made the calls and this will work. They cost $170-$190.
But not sure yet about hi-po manifolds for mustangs?

: Not that is has not been said 100 times before but I would just like to confirm to whoever is doing 351w swaps that the hedman swap headers for the 64-68 mustang part number 88650 with the 1 5/8" tubes and 3" collector do fit, very tight but they do fit.

: : I have a 70 Maverick , I just installed a 302 and I am wondering if Tri-Y headers made for Mustangs will fit?
