:cold weather my butt, wait to you do a valve job in a unheated garage in the winter at -10degs out side, I live in Kitsap county now, Colorado was to dam cold in the winter.
Well, cold weather came to the northwest finally (unfortunately). The garage floor is cold and it's getting dark early. Hard to keep motivated on getting this 10 year old project up and running. Anyone else out there loosing steam too? I did visit a junk yard last week and got some fender louvered vents off a titanic sized t-bird....they go behind the front wheels. I know some of us were curious about those Brazilian Mavericks with the vents, so I decided to use that which was readily available. They only cost $3.50 each. I held them in place slight above the front wheels and back, and I like how they're goin to look. Whether or not they will be functional ventilation for the front disc brakes, remains to be seen, but when I do them mounted, I will post a pic........
