no problem! i was actually going to do the swap, but money is a problem.....i had to sell the engine to pay insurance!

Anyways, you'd get some GREAT power with a cam, and with that you need the 4bbl and manifold. If you look around, a lot of people with mustangs have done the swap...in fact, i used to have a "recommended setup" page, someone here gave it to me so maybe if you ask around. Anyways, looks like people were getting about 450hp with a radical cam, intake, carb, and a good valvetrain.
I think you can forget about using those stock exhaust manifolds! The general response that i got actually gave me the impression that even the specially designed swap-headers have to be pounded in a little, and some of the bolts hit the shock towers! Torque straps are definitely a consideration.

Other than that, you'd be looking at some hellishly short 1/4s, like 11 or 12 if you set it all up just right....mach 1's with the clevelands ran around 13 or 14 i think and they weighed a lot more.
Oh, one other thing....you may want some sub-frame connectors because the unibody structure of mavericks may not take the abuse for very long.....just look into it. I have a website on putting in your own for about $5 if you have a welder and air compressor (for cutting disks).

Feel free to email me if you have any questions, i haven't done the swap but i researched it to death when i was going to....

Chris
