: my point was that theFMX is`nt completely worthless . If you are on a budget and have one laying around it "could " be used with decent results! Also TL your mav must have a heckuva engine to get rubber in third gear with a stock tranny! the 71 galaxy I had was a stock (slow) 351w 2bl. with a 2.78 rearend and a curb weight of about a thousand pounds more than a maverick. Second gear SPUN at 60m.p.h. ,third barked at almost 90m.p.h. thus prooving to me that it was`nt completely a boat ancor
