What do the tail lights look like on that car? I'm always looking for new ideas. As far as the car towing goes, if you don't have anyone with a roll back you could always tow it to the scrap yard and then take off the disc brakes.

: Well, i talked to a friend today, found out he's junking his $500 351C '73 Gran Torino four door....he's expecting $50 from the crushers, and it's worth about that!
: Anyways, he said i could have the 9" rear for free, so i got that (2.73) for free, pulled it today! Unfortunately it has coil springs, so i'm in need of a cutting torch and a good file (get rid of those perches and weld some new ones on!). He also says that i can have the front discs for free, don't konw how those will fit (Anyone know?) but i'd like to get them anyways...however, the crushing yard wouldn't be able to get the car out of there would they? He has it parked on his driveway right now, we backed it in so they can just lift the rear and let it ride on the front wheels, but what happens when those go too? Any ideas? How to get a car with no wheels to the crusher, or if they'd be able to get it there themselves?
: Also, anybody know anything about the '73 torino's that's worth getting? Engine and tranny will be gone (damn!), probably radiator too, but otherwise....

: Thanks for any advice!

: Chris
