: on my L6, the compressor is on the passenger side, driver side on my 302. the L6 compressor line to the condensor is much longer than the one on my 302. if you don't have power steering, you may be able to make it work if the hose is very mallable. if its stiff, you'll have to get the new one. on both of mine, the hose just jumps across the fan shroud on the top driver side of the radiator, but on the L6, it has to jump over the valve cover first, on the 302 the hose is only 1 foot long or so. the one off of the L6 is about 3 feet or more. the line coming from the evaporator core is different on both, it will have to be replaced. Good luck with a fairly complicated(well, more complicated than it should be) engine swap.

: : I was wondering if any of you guys might know if the A/C hose running from the compressor to the evaporator core is different on the L6 verses the V8? I'm using the hose off the L6, and it comes out of the compressor, drops down to the frame, then back up to the evaporator core/dryer. Anybody know???

Well, actually, I have done the engine swap, and the A/C compressor is ready to go. I am using the L6 hose, which drops down to the frame, but was wondering the length differece. Thanks.
