I'm almost positive when i say this:
The 351 WINDSOR (not the cleveland, cleveland is a different story!) is nothing more than a 302 block with an extra couple of inches added on to the top (longer stroke). So, everything that works with the 302 should work with the windsor (including headers, heads--with modifications--, mounts, etc.). The windsor only weighs about 50lbs more, so it's a good upgrade.
The '79 Windsor isn't going to be the most high-performance 351 straight out-of-the-box because of pollution controls, but it will fit the same as any other 351W. There might be a few small external changes, but the mounts are still in the same place and everything else is okay. It will work!
The C4 will also work, there aren't any real differences. IF you're going to be hotrodding the 351, you could always put extra-durable transmission parts in, but it isn't necessary.

Anyways, let me know how it goes! I'm here if you want to ask some other questions, i haven't gotten to the final step of installing a 351 yet but i've done plenty of research so i can at least help you out with the big details. Left my email this time too.

Chris
