The one you listed (YG-138 which BTW is a "Motorcraft" number) is for a car made after 3/74. The parts book lists a 'YG-107' for V8 models prior to 3/74...FoMoCo # D00Z 18495-B. Hope this helps!

PS. Please sit down when/if you call "Green's", you will get 'woozy' when they tell you how much it will co$t you!

: On a '73 V8 302 4dr with A/C(disconnected)
: The Ford part # is YG138. Ford has classified this as an obsolete part.
: Thier jobber for obsolete parts is Green Sales 1-800-543-4959.(If you call, you must have the Ford part #)
: It is no longer available.
: I tried one for a mustang/granada, but there is only one vacuum connection, and the current one has two.
: Any suggestions on an alternate car listing that would work?

: BTW I will flush the heater core for good measure, but the valve is definitly shot.

: To keep it running I will install an elbow for now, which will have heat going through the core at all times.
