I went to my local drag strip Friday night and there were three Mavericks, well two and a Comet GT running out there. I guess you can call it mini meet... huh? We'll have to take pictures of the three together next Friday or next time all three of us are out there.. i know of another one here locally to Maybe we'll have 4 together !
: Well to all that missed it, you missed a great show there were over 2000 Ford's at this show. They started to line up at 4:30am and were still pulling into there parking spaces at 10:30am when they closed the gate's. It's was disappointing though for us Maverick fans. There were only 3 Mav's and 1 Comet in attendance. This was 2 more than last year. The Comet was a beautiful '72 red GT that only had 47,000 origonal miles and was featured in the show's tribute to the 60th anniversary of Mercury. 2 of the Mav's were '72 Grabber's(that includes mine) and the other Maverick was a '73 with a 302 in very nice condition. Hopefully I have added 3 new members to the IMCC and this board. Next year I hope all of the Maverick owners in Califonia and the neighboring states can come and have fun in the sun. For more info I will be sending a write up to Craig to post in the news letter and yes Stefen the pictures are being developed today and I should have them scaned in and emailed to you soon. Missed all of you there.
