Well...thanks for the info. Wish I had known that a few months ago before having a cross over installed. Do you think the test will work with the cross over installed. Would like to know where I stand.

: I am a car magazine junkie and have 20 years worth of them , in boxes, and bits and pieces of `em stick in your head when you read `em as much as I have(IM NOT A KNOW IT ALL) Anyway , I`ve read many times over the years that the crossover pipe does indeed help torque and the BEST way to get the correct placement is as follows, HAVE THE EXHAUST SYSTEM INSTALLED WITHOUT THE CROSSOVER PIPE,NOW SPRAY PAINT THE PIPES STARTING JUST BEHIND THE HEADER COLLECTORS,SPRAY 2-3 FEET OF THE PIPES, NOW IN A SAFE PLACE START THE CAR AND AS SOON AS THE ENGINE IS WARMED UP ENOUGH DO A FULL THROTTLE RUN UP THROUGH THE GEARS, STOP THE CAR ,SHUT OFF THE ENGINE AND LOOK AT THE PIPES. WHEREVER THE PAINT STOPPED BLISTERING IS THE POINT WHERE THE CROSSOVER SHOULD BE INSTALLED. Hope this helps!
