Well, all that stuff is in the past and that's where it should stay. I actually get along with Sarah now. Some people just can't handle it when someone disagrees with them and they go ballistic. But like I said, it's all behind us now and this is a great forum. I think people realized that they can't run me off by insulting me. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on this board and I hope it lasts forever...
: $50,000.00 what a steal your add back in June said you wouldn't part with it for anything. And that the price of $156,000.00 was ficticius. So 50G's must be you drop dead bottom line. I'd take 50G's for mine, like P.T. Barnum always said there's a sucker born every day. HaHaHa!
: But seriously I put 108 miles(all highway) a day 5 days a week on my Grabber (looking for a cheap motorcyle to replace it with) so the 2.79 are esencial for milage. BTW I was reading about your fight's with Sahra and that F-100 guy, you win hands down they never had a chance. F-100 was fighting with a handy cap though (no brain). for my 2cents worth the 300I6 is great for pulling and could probably beat a 302V8 in the quarter mile if both cars were preped the same but once you past the finish that would be it for the 6 the 8 would keep on trucking right past. That's also the point F-100 could not get, besides the cost difference to fix up a 300I6 and try to shoe horn one into a Maverick you would not have a radiator. As far as fixing up the 250I6 forget about it you can't make the power that the 302V8 make not in a million years or dollar's. Sorry to get off track so far but I had to get my opinion in on the subject. You where right like always, keep up the good work and don't mind the Troy, Sahra, and F-100's in the world. They are the reason we live in a PC world, no body can take anything any more.
: : Thanks. It's a '73 and it's bright yellow-gold metallic. My city driving fuel economy didn't change a bit with the 3.55s but obviously the highway mileage is worse. The car isn't actually for sale unless someone wants to give me $50,000 for it (every man has his price, right?). The Bobcat taillights work just like Maverick/Pinto lights and the inner sections are just fake lenses. You could make them functional but you'd have to drill big holes and I didn't want to do that. I sent Stefan a picture of the interior but I don't know if he has posted it on the site....

: : : Hey T.L. I was just reading through the first message board and came across your car for sale(June 98), I noticed that your car sounds almost identical to mine accept that mine is a real '72 Grabber, it has a 2.79 rear end(daily driver fuel economy), MSD ignition, Hurst floor shifter(wish I could have found one of the origonals), Sony CD player, and it's yellow with black Shelby racing stripes, everything else is the same though. Saw the pictures of your's too, very cool!! Dig the Bobcat tail lights to, do the inner lights work or are they simply reflectors? I'm in the prosses of getting my pictures to Stefan so that I can get it posted too.
