Like I said; there is PLENTY of breather room in a Maverick for a 351W. And that's with a tall air filter to boot. Unless you're talking about a 351-C; that may be a different story...

: I have plenty of breather room for my 302,But that 351 was a hell of alot bigger. The breather was going to have to be almost flat to fit under the hood.
: : There's plenty of breather room. A maverick has a very tall hood line. You do have to modify the spring towers to accomodate exhausts and to change spark plugs though...

:
: : : No breather room? How about an induction, or scoop?
: : : Maybe a comet GT scoop

: : : : I would say you would be better off to buy a 302..351-w is a very tight fit,You have very little room for exhaust and little room for a breather.I started putting a 351-w in a 72 comet,Sat the motor down a couple times, seen how tight a fit it was and decided to go with a 302.
: : : : : i have a 70 351 windsor that i want to put into my 6-cyl equipped mav....what is required and where can i get the parts?....the 250 is on its last leg....death rattles ya know
: : : : : craig....just e-mail me any info
