I got an e-mail from a guy that claimed to have had a "Mod Maverick" and said he had pictures and would e-mail them.... Im STILL waiting.

In Japan there is a Civic hatch back called the Type R with a 160hp 1.6 liter engine.
It will never be imported to Canada, yet I saw a "Type R" Civic in a showroom that closely resembled the Japanese version but it was the dealer that added the stickers, wing and mags.

: There were several dealers and aftermarket companies that bought Mavericks, modified them, then sold them to the public. There was one dealer up in Michigan selling "Mod Mavericks" that had side pipes, air shocks (oh no), and alum wheels. There were also "Stabber Grabbers" too, I believe. Down in Texas there was a company making a Maverick called the "Drag-n-Fly" that had some wild fiberglass pieces added to it. Lots of these cars are "undocumented", except for the "Drag-n-Fly" which I know the Maverick Connection has some documentation on. I recently had a guy contact me wanting to sell me his Drag-n-Fly. On these cars, unless you have a lot of documentation to go with it, it is hard to prove.
