I've made my own subframe connectors from some 2x2 boxed steel, you can get this stuff for a couple dollars a foot (most cars take about 6-8 feet). Usually it takes me about 3 hours of cutting and welding. I don't know about mav's but on mustangs you can run these up inside the original frame and make it even stiffer. You can definitely tell the difference in body flex when you put these on your car, it feels totally stiff.
