You can't find a cheaper car to restore and fix up. I've had mine for 16years now and every time I've thought about selling it to get something new I've always looked at the cost to do it and my Grabber has always beat the competion is this area. Over the 16yrs I've had the car I've probably only spent $30,000-$40,000 to keep it running and fixing it up(new engine after 200,000 miles, new paint, after market goodies, tires, and all of the tune ups) not includeing gas I've spent less in 16yrs on my Maverick than most people spend just to get a new POS today. So buy the Maverick with the engine in place you'll never reget it, just ask anyone on this board and I'll bet more than half will have the same conclution. Plus it's the best looking car ever made!!!!!!!! That my 2 cent's worth.

: : In my experience, old fords in general are expensive when it comes to parts (compared to chevy)

: My Mav's parts are by far cheaper than the parts for the Nova I had before... As for the $450, does that include the price of the Mav? either way it sounds pretty ok...
