Your right the article said something like 8000 miles per year, thats not very much, I put about 600 a week(depends on how far the shows are on the weekends) on mine. I met a guy last year at a Ford show in Buena Park that had a 351W in his Mav. and he said that he had to remove the valve covers to change the spark plugs. Hey T.L. put your email address on the next post, I couldn't find it on this board or on the last one. I wanted to email you about LA.

: Yeah, he probably rarely ever drives the car so he never needs to change spark plugs either...

:
: : I just saw the one in the Car Craft magazine, your right the cowl hood does not look good it makes it look like a P****. Did you also see the engine compartment he put a 351W in without cutting the shock towers, I know he had custom headers made but the engine looks like it's supose to be there, way cool! Also I think it said that he's running in the 11's, thats fast for a street car.

: : : It's nice to have a Mustang guy who respects Mavericks visit our message board...

: : : : You guys gotta see the maverick in the newest Car Craft Magazine, I don't much care for the cowl hood on it though.
: : : : also in the Nov 98 issue of Mustang&Fords there was a "boss maverick", the guy restored it to look like it came from ford complete with boss stripes and everything! It had an original boss 302 that looked like it belonged in the car.
: : : : I'd like to show it to you guys but I lost the magazine.
