: I took Alice into her regular shop to have her "prioritized" (as I'm on a limited budget) and to have her breaks adjusted... When she was up on the rack the mec and I went over her under so to speak... What I saw made me see RED! The previous owner had been really taken around the block when it vame to repairs (something I already knew) BUT we found a ground wire, compleate with davit just tucked down and hanging! (This is not the first discovery of such peanut gallery repairs that have been done, I had a vaccum hose plugged with the end of a drill bit!)...
: Well, After the ball joints are replace (they wiggle like a bowl of jello) I think the next thing is to just turn her over to them for a couple and start putting things back where they belong! *sigh*. I think I finally understand why he wont talk to me anymore.... he's tooo ashamed of the fact that he got SCREWED by whomever attempted this half assed repair work...
