First car I ever bought was a 1976 Stallion. I was 16 years old looking for a car one Saturday morning. Looked at a rusted out 1970 Nova SS 4sp car, a 1973 340?/383? Road Runner, and finally a 1976 Stallion with only 28,000 miles on it. Paid the guy $1200 for it in 1979. What a great car. It had a 302 with a 3 spd on the floor. Learned all about working on cars from this car. Sold it in 1982 and purchased, of all things, a 1974 Mustang II. What a mistake. I haven't seen one Stallion in the past 10 years on the road. I think it would be a good investment to buy and hold. If I ever get my web page up, I'll post some pictures of my Stallion.
O.K. Everybody....count on one hand how many Stallions you have seen, and not in a Junk Yard. With my vast experience, I count none. This is a very rare car, and with a 340 hp V-8, it is worth probably whatever it takes to buy it.
: In all my e-mails, only one person ever sent me a picture of a Stalion and that was Tom. Sprints and Comet GTs are far more common.
