Got a part number for the Koni shocks? Maybe a web site address?

:
: That "floatiness" may be due to insufficient rebound damping in your shocks. Most oem-type heavy duty shocks give stiff compression damping, but still allow the car to float back to ride height. I suggest looking at better quality shocks, like Koni.

: : seems like when Im really up to speed I get the floating bump recovery on the front of my grabber, I have an all new everything (rubber bushings there) amnd new shocks, Im running a 302 (original equipment) with lighter intake and exaust. but I still feel like the front end is too heavy for the springs, I was kinda looking at putting the front coils from a ford ranger in.... any ideas?
: : PS I need to know the uncompresed height of the mave springs, dont feel like pulling mine out untill I have the "new" springs..

: : : PST 1-800-247-2288. I tatlked to ED. Mid December 1998 he quoted $135.00 for a pair of "heavy duty" springs.

: : : : Where did you find the "stiffer" coil springs??? Need something for my 289.

: : : :
: : : : : I have done a bit of surfing and catalog reading in the last couple of months.

: : : : : What I will do is compile a list of what how much and where and send it for FAQ evaluation.

: : : : : I have found springs front and rear, shocks, bushings. I have not found what I want, which is to keep the rear end like it is(I will change to the JC Whitney 4leaf) and LOWER the frond end only slightly(1 to 1 1/2"). I have found coil springs for oem and stiffer.
: : : : : My ultimate desire would be suspension to mimic my bike. Progressive Suspension.
