Paulie you said your in collage see if you can enroll in the auto repair class they can help work on your car for freeeeeeee! I took a class at my local junior collage right out of high school and I got to work on my Maverick all of the time because as the instructor put it they don't make cars like this any more and if you get a job in the real world you will find them still around and it's good experiance for students to learn on. Plus you'll learn how to do all of the repairs your self and loose those Muffler Bearing Mechanics you've been dealing with. I think for the $20.00 it cost for the class it was well worth it. Good luck! Thanks for hanging in there it's always fun to read your post's.

: BUT times like this I want to push my car off of a cliff and ask myself why the hell I got into it in the first place...

: I mean, I was fully aware that this poor car would need a lot of TLC... $100+ just to get her to move under her own power and to our first $500 trip to the brake shop should have said so...
: I THOUGHT my car freinds were knowlegeable... ("fly wheel..") and helpful... (I'll be over to pull your radiator tommorow... 50$ to have it rebored and pizza... 1 week, 150$ + towing later...)
: I bought the maunual... (round here somewhere) to prevent getting shafted by the repair places... (my regular shop can't handel tranny's and related stuff)...
: MAybe I'm just having a bad week/month all around...

: I swear if it wasn't for you guys I'd have given up a LONNNNNNG time ago....
