If you are talking about what I think you are talking about -a plastic case with wires running from it attached to the back of the light- try turning the plastic thing with the wires like a screw and see if it releases. It should do so after about a quarter turn. Be gentle though, because I'm not sure that we're talking about the same thing.

: : Thank you. I tried to check my light bulbs on the right front. Something is attaching the light encasement to the grill. I'm not sure how to get that thing off. So I couldn't check the light. So I'll check the fuse box. And in reply to T.L., my poor car is the bottom of the line and has never had a stereo in it. It is just a really big dash. Pretty pathetic. But thank you. :-)

: : The fuse box on a 73 is located above the brake pedal...if it is just the right side though I'd check the bulbs first then the flasher. As far as a stereo is concerned, I found a 71 Grabber that has a dash with a cutout for a stereo or a heater or something. That's what I'm gonna use. Right now mine is mounted under the tray that's under the dash, just kinda hangs there.

: : : I have a 1973 yellow, four door Maverick. I was trying to find the fuse
: : : box so I can make my right side blinkers work. Where is it? I used to
: : : have a 1963 Falcon and it was under the steering wheel. I tried to look
: : : there but didn't really see anything. Help!
: : : Also, this lovely car has never had a stereo in it. What is the easiest
: : : way to get one installed? Thank you.
