It is expensive to do a color change if you want it done right. Remember that the under-side of the hood, trunk-lid & hinges, and door jams & hinges, and engine compartment are also white. It is extra work to paint these and therefore more expensive. I think white Mavericks look cool if it's a really brite white, but it's your car and ultimately, you must be happy with the color of it...
