All ya do is cut it out(preferably a square pattern), then ya buy some flat sheetmetal, cut it to size with some tin snips, and MIG it in there about every inch. don't weld continuously or it will warp the metal. then when your done, clean up the welds and primer it. then get some automotive seam sealer to seal the small gaps. and when it dries paint it to match. I've done this in my rustang. its cake if you have a welder. you can probably use a torch or an arc too.
