Yeah I can remember those days too, but have become accustom to the buckets in my truck.

Nope...don't have the buckets for the Mav, but thanks for the info on the converter hump.

: Watch out on those bucket seats if you're looking to put them in an early Maverick/Comet (69.5 - 73). Passenger side seats from a Granada will fit only later model Mavericks/Comets that have the hump in the passenger side floor to accomodate the catylitic converter. The driver's side should be okay, but having just one seat isn't much good. For that matter, if you had a set of seat tracks from an early Maverick, they would bolt to the Granada seats and solve the problem, but if you had seat tracks, theres a good chance that you'd already have seats attached to them and you wouldn't need ones from a Granada anyway. If you REALLY want to get fancy, The Lincoln Versailles came with a POWER bench seat that will bolt right in also. Okay, so it's not sporty like buckets are, but I can remember being a young single guy and thinking that a nice wide bench seat was just fine....

: : Found some Granada's and Monarch's in a yard. Planning on checking for 9 inch rears this weekend. Let me know if anyone is interested. Also gonna look at the seats. Buckets are suppose to fit in a Mav, or Comet.
