: I was at the 49th annual Autorama in Sacramento last weekend and got some cool possible ideas. While there were no Mavericks, (surprise) there was a really cool, really custom, '66 Mustang Convertible. It was lowered and had big wheels with low profile tires and HUGE disk brakes. The coolest thing was that it had a 4.6L cobra under the hood and a modified hood from the latest body style Mustangs. It had a 5-speed trans. and nice Ricaro buckets. Another cool thing was a completely digital guage panel. I heard something about a company where you can send in your gauge panel and they will "digitize" it for you. I'll try to find out more. All the chrome was painted the same color red as the car. I would have taken pictures but I forgot the camera. It definetly looked like a car from the 90's. I think a Maverick would look awesome like this. Maybe when I win the lotto......

That does sound really interesting. I would like to here more. After looking through the picture gallery, I saw a couple of mavs that looked like they had four headlights. Looked really cool... kinda Europeanish. Here's my original idea: Leevers. (Don't know if I spelled that right.)I think that a mav would look pretty cool with tem. I'm going to eventually try to find a shop that will customize some for me.
