:My Mav also has hooker headers,so maybe I can help. You have to use an open end wrench on almost all the bolts ,I have one I put a 45 degree bend in the center of the handle of years ago. It`s About 5 inches long so its easy to fit next to the shock towers and the bent handle allows easier use. Also try starting the two outside bolts first ,drop in the gasket,(Mr.Gasket gaskets are notched to allow this)and then start ALL of the other bolts befofe you tighten ANY of them! Now Work your way across all of the bolts tightening them little by little until they are completly tight .NOW for the most important step.START THE BEAST UP STILL UNCAPPED AND TAKE `ER ROUND THE BLOCK ONE TIME!! After the engine cools and you regaine your hearing re-tighten the bolts again.HAVE FUN!!
